Hoses

Hydraulic hoses are used in industrial applications for a variety of tasks, including lifting, forging, and stamping. You’ll find these hoses on everything from backhoes and excavators to the wing flaps on airplanes. Usually made of synthetic rubber, they are designed to be compatible with the hydraulic fluid and resist breaking down. They also have a reinforcing layer of coiled wire or a fabric cover that protects the inner tube from internal and external forces.

Fittings

Hydraulic fittings are components that connect hoses, pipes, or tubes within hydraulic systems. They need to be strong, versatile, and reliable in order to operate safely and effectively. There are a variety of materials that can be used to make hydraulic fittings. These include stainless steel, brass, aluminum alloys, and carbon steel. The material that is used depends on the operating conditions and environmental factors such as temperature, pressure, and the type of fluid that is being used in the system. Fittings also need to be able to withstand corrosion, especially when used in marine environments.

Flanges

Hydraulic flanges are a type of pipe fitting that connects a port to a tube, pipe, or hose. They are a helpful hydraulic tool and equipment because they can be used to make connections in high-pressure applications, withstand shock loads, and are simple to assemble. There are two common industrial standard hydraulic flanges and several specialized and proprietary types of hydraulic flanges. These include a square bolt flange connection, called ISO 6164 (SAE J518) and Parker 4-bolt flange connections.

Regulators

A pressure regulator is a device that regulates a liquid feed from a constant supply to maintain system pressure within a set operating range. It opens when the system pressure drops below a certain point and closes when it rises above the same point. Regulators are important hydraulic tools because they help keep systems under pressure. They also prevent leaks and other problems that may affect a system’s performance or reliability.
